THE
PRAYER OF THE LITTLE ONES FOR THE VICTORY

Praise
be Jesus Christ!
Brothers priests, we are at the end of this Cenacle. I tell you the
truth, that the days of these exercises have never passed so quickly.
If you remember, in the first meditation I tried
right away to introduce you to understand the
secret of this Movement. It is a
Movement which in the Church by its nature has no legal recognition,
however, it is definitely the Work of Madonna. About this I have
evidence of this one hundred percent.
She raises it up, according to the needs of the
Church and of humanity, in these times
of purification and of the great tribulation, because they are
dominated by the ancient serpent, Satan, as a great dragon who
deceives the whole world. He has led humanity away from God, he has
built a pagan civilization, with the idols that everyone adores.
A
– A DUEL
Above all Satan has formed a powerful army
with the greatest and the strongest at all levels, to the point that
yesterday these powerful ones in evil, Father Ivan in his meditation,
called them giants
to create fear in all of us who are children.
I remember in the Holy Scripture the
episode of a little child. There was
made a challenge to Saul, to have a duel with the giant Goliath and
the young David offers himself to fight him. And King Saul puts his
armor on David. Imagine, this youth with the armor: he could not move
a step, he could not move his hands. Then he says: Away the armor, I
will present myself just as I am. He takes his sling and the
stones.
And the giant Goliath,
when he sees him, he despise him: “But
you son of a wicked woman, you worthless blond boy have the courage
to come against me…” David answers:
"You come in the name of all your
troops, I come in the name of the Lord of Israel"
(Sam 17:45). He takes his sling and hits him with a stone in the
head, the giant falls, he goes and kills him.
In his meditations, Msgr. Cabrejos develops the
themes that the Pope proposed in the public life of Jesus. Why offer
them now? Because now we have to live this aspect of the public life,
to live it and to make it lived. This is our testimony. To
bring people to hear the word of Jesus, to announce it. "This
is my beloved Son, listen to Him"
(Mt 17,5).
Then at the wedding of Cana Our Lady, he said to
the servants, "Do whatever he says." We
must do what Jesus tells us, do you
understand brother priests? And then convert ourselves, since the
Kingdom of God is near. We could understand the Kingdom as interior,
but also as the Kingdom that Jesus will bring, when He will return in
glory. Our Lady prepares us to receive Him in glory.
And to believe in His divinity. To become true
ministers of holiness, lending
ourselves especially for the sacrament of reconciliation, as I have
often pointed out in these exercises, because sacramental confession
is disappearing everywhere.
But above all Our Lady, in front of the ranks of
the giants, the little servant of the Lord forms the host of little
ones, of children. She therefore forms
the array of children in order to defeat the army of the giants.
The pride of the giants breaks down little by
little the word of God. The humility of
the small ones receives the word of God with faith and spreads the
Gospel just as it is.
The pride of the giants leads us to live
according to the world, far from God,
on the way of sin and capital vices.
The strategy of Mary is to feed her children
so that they can grow in grace, in the exercise of the virtues and to
walk along the way of holiness.
She prepares the army of her little children to
overcome the force of the giants. This
is the fight that the Pope emphasized in his homily: ''Another
portent appeared in heaven; behold, a great red dragon" (Rev
12:3). These words from the first reading of the Mass make us think
of the great struggle between good and evil, showing how, when man
puts God aside, he cannot achieve happiness, but ends up destroying
himself" (John Paul II, Homily at Fatima, May 13, 2000). These
giants will eventually eat each other, they will destroy themselves
by themselves.
B - DUE VITTORIE CON LA VOCE
"According to the divine plan, "a
woman clothed with the sun" (Rev
12: 1) came down from heaven to
this earth to visit the privileged children of the Father”
(John Paul II, Homily at Fatima, May 13, 2000). Most Holy Mary comes
from Heaven to earth at Fatima according to a divine plan: in search
of the little ones to form her militia. But the little ones do not
know how to fight. But God sometimes even wins without fighting.
There are two episodes in the Old Testament
that explain how Our Lady carries forth today her victory. An episode
is quoted from the book of Judges
and the other episode is quoted from the
book of Joshua.
“Now Jericho was shut up from within and from
without because of the people of Israel; none went out, and none came
in. And the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have given into your
hand Jericho, with its king and mighty men of valor. You shall march
around the city, all the men of war going around the city once. Thus
shall you do for six days. And seven priests shall bear seven
trumpets of rams' horns before the ark; and on the seventh day you
shall march around the city seven times, the priests blowing the
trumpets. And when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, as
soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall
shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down
flat".” (Josh 6:1-5).
St. Cyril of Alexandria says that the city of Jericho represents the
city of evil: the Jericho of evil, which is destroyed by the priestly
trumpets, that is by the priestly prayer, prayer will be the cause of
the falling down today of the Jericho of evil.
But in this fight we see that there's all the people of Israel,
the priests, the ark and the people.
There is also another episode in which the Lord
wins, not with many, but with few, it
is that recounted in the book of Judges:
“Then Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) and all the
people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the spring of
Harod; and the camp of Midian was north of them, by the hill of
Moreh, in the valley.
The
LORD said to Gideon, "The people with you are too many for me to
give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel vaunt themselves
against me, saying, 'My own hand has delivered me.' 3 Now therefore
proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, 'Whoever is fearful and
trembling, let him return home.'" And Gideon tested them;
twenty-two thousand returned” (Judg 7:1-3).
In the Movement in recent years, those who have
been afraid, withdrew. Afraid, because
they found it difficult; afraid, because they heard criticism, fear,
because they meet with indifference or misunderstanding on the part
of some bishops; afraid, because they were criticized by some
theologian; fear, for many other reasons. Many have turned back.
But it is a plan of Our Lady to have let them go
back. Here it must be clear that the victory is hers alone. Not even
us as a movement, although called to be part of her cohort, we have
to be honored in some way for the victory. The
victory is hers alone! And She wants to
show that it is hers.
“Twenty
two thousand turned back”.
It
could be even 40,000 in the Movement. It is not important, it is not
important.
"Ten thousand remained. And the LORD said to Gideon, "The
people are still too many” ” (Judg 7:3-4). Ten thousand are too
many: they would say that it is them, that it is not God Who saved
Israel. Then he put them to the test:
“Take them down to the water and I will test
them for you there… Every one that laps the water with his tongue,
as a dog laps, you shall set by himself; likewise every one that
kneels down to drink." And the number of those that lapped,
putting their hands to their mouths, was three hundred men; but all
the rest of the people knelt down to drink water. And the LORD said
to Gideon, "With the three
hundred men that lapped I will deliver you”
(Judg 7:4-7).
Do you know how the victory took place? Gideon
divided the three hundred men into three groups of a hundred. He give
to all of them trumpets, carafes and sticks. At my order you will
beat with the sticks and the pitchers and you and I will begin to
scream, yell, scream ... They did as they were told, the frightened
Midianites leave, they turn against each
other, and they kill everyone. And the three hundred won without any
weapons, without fighting. The
Midianites were killed for fear of their voice.
C
- THE VICTORY WITH THE VOICE OF INFANTS.
The Gospel says: “I
thank Thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that
Thou hast hidden these things from the
wise and understanding and revealed them to babes"
(Mt 11:25); and in the Psalm: "By the mouth of babes and
infants, thou hast founded a bulwark because of thy foes, to still
the enemy and the avenger" (Ps 8,3).
Once in a meditation, I said that Our Lady puts us
through the test, like Gideon, not the test of water, but
the test of milk. Those children who
want to take the baby’s bottle and drink the milk alone, Our Lady
says: "Go to the side, they are already a bit too big, they have
grown a bit too much. Those who take the
milk from my bosom, these I keep,
because they have that smallness that appeals to my heart and with
which I will be able to act."
Then we begin to think: how
are infants able to speak? They do not
know how to speak. But She says, with the voice of infants. What is
their voice? It is a voice of crying that expresses (the mothers know
how to understand) the need for food or the need for sleep. When
children are infants, they express themselves in this way. Their
voice is the one that asks for food or for sleep.
With the voice of children and infants: this means
with a voice of people, who can not speak, that
basically know only how to cry, invoking God, their Dad, and invoking
the Mom. And the Mom is waiting just
for this crying voice that is of invocation and of supplication to
the Heavenly Father and to Her, she waits only for this voice in
order to begin implementing her victory.
Do
you understand… we must be small in this way.
Because this our invocation to the Father and to
the Mother is a voice that is deposited in them and that it makes
ours their own prayer. That's why the ''Blue Book" it is
written: "When I to hear them
cry like little children… I will intervene in an amazing and
terrible way” (February 23,
1974). It is the crying and the invocation of those children who do
not know how to speak, but who place their voice in that of Jesus and
that of the Mother.
This is why Our Lady invites us to pray with Her,
together with Her. And the prayer done with Her is the Holy Rosary.
"It is a prayer that you do with
Me. I pray with you, I join in your prayer."
It is a prayer done together, in which the voice of the children is
united with the Mother's voice. And it is this power of the maternal
voice of Mary, united with that of her children, that obtains the
victory: so powerful to win and crush the power of the giants, which
today have become really strong, especially the ones inserted in the
diabolical but very strong ranks which is the Freemasonry.
D
– THE VICTORIOUS WEAPON OF THE ROSARY.
Now you understand why, seeing that we
are entering into the heart of the trial
– with so many signs Our Lord helps us to understand – at the
beginning of a millennium in which explodes in many parts of the
world terrorism, which leads to new bloody situations and violence,
in which the difficulties which the world horizon presents, lead us
to think that if there is no intervention from on High, we will not
be able to change what awaits us and to hope for a brighter future,
in the days when the same Christianity threatens to succumb, the
Pope establishes a Year of the Rosary
and invites the whole Church to pray with Mary, so that we can be
freed from the terrible dangers that loom over us in these times.
“Gather
the religious and the faithful around you in cenacles of unceasing
and fervent prayer, offered with me.
At
this time above all, I am asking you to pray with fervor and joy by
means of the holy rosary. It is the weapon which is to be used by you
today in fighting and winning this bloody battle” (May 1,
1983).
How is it possible in a battle, in which young
children go up against the giants and do not use weapons?
They are defeated from the start. David: "You come in the power
of your armor, I come in the name of the Lord with a sling."
The giants come with all their power, led by
Satan himself, with all the evil
spirits ... Catherine Emmerich, a German mystic of the eighteenth
century, saw that 50 years before 2000, hell would be emptied,
because Satan and all the devils came into this world to build the
kingdom of evil. So you see how the fight is above all at the level
of spirits: angels and heavenly spirits against Satan and the demons.
We are involved in a fight that is
immensely beyond us. Faced with the
power of all these, what can we do?
Our Lady gives us the weapon, because we too must
have the weapon. And the weapon that She gives us is the Holy Rosary:
the weapon to be used to overcome the power of evil, "The
Rosary is the weapon that today you have to use to fight and to win
this bloody battle." Behold
the reason for the Year of the Rosary.
"The Rosary is the golden chain that binds you to my Heart"
(May 1, 1993). And a chain that always endures.
There was a priest who had made the
consecration to the Immaculate Heart.
And then for years he had moved away from the priesthood, living a
bad life. In a vision a soul saw that this priest was in the depths
of an ocean, and was lost. But from where he was there was like a
small thread that linked him to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This
small thread was the consecration that he had made to her Immaculate
Heart. Our Lady made it clear that with that little thread She had
pulled him up, from where he was, and
had lead him to salvation.
“The Rosary it is the lightning rod that will
keep far from you, and from those who are dear to you, the fire of
the chastisement; it is the sure means of having me always close to
you” (May 1, 1983).
Therefore, you understand the importance of this
Year for us, of this Apostolic Letter on the Rosary, in the moment in
which one enters into battle, which appears to be a sure victory for
the big giants that dominate this earth. We go into this battle, Our
Lady offers us this weapon, she wants to be with us. It
is the lightning rod that protects you from the punishment of fire.
This is the third secret of Fatima: the angel with the flaming sword
is torching the world. Our Lady holds back this fire with her hands.
The lightning rod, which will defend us, is the hand of our heavenly
Mother.
But now entering the strongest moment of this battle, the Pope
illuminated by the Holy Spirit, proclaims the Year of the Rosary and
writes the apostolic letter on the Rosary.
Here
I must tell you a few things.
Of course I can not share the opinion of our dear American Father,
when he said that the Pope read the messages of blue Book and they
inspired him to write the apostolic letter on the Rosary and on the
Eucharist. We can not think this way, absolutely not.
It could be that the Pope read the book, as it may
be that he has not read it. But there is
one thing that is striking: in the letter and in the encyclical there
are identical points, sometimes
expressed in almost the same words, on what is written in the book
and on what the Pope writes.
If he read it, it may be that he was inspired in something; if he had
not read it, it means that the Heavenly Mother has expressed to the
Pope, with whom she has a particular and special relationship, what
is expressed here in the Book. There are other explanations.
For us this is a cause for joy. It is a fact that indicates that the
Church tacitly approves us. We are so in the heart of the Church,
that when we see that the Magisterium publishes some documents, these
documents are already deeply inserted in the Book of the messages of
our Movement.
I quote three points, but there are many others.
For example, Our Lady says: With the
Rosary you can affect the national and international events.
The Pope in his Apostolic Letter says the same thing.
The
Pope says that Our Lady asks for the Rosary.
“The prayer of my predilection is the holy
Rosary. d For this reason, in my many apparitions I always ask that
it be recited. I unite myself with those who say it; I request it
from all with solicitude and maternal preoccupation”
(October 7, 1983).
These
words are found in “Rosarium Viriginis Mariae”, 7:
“Well-known are the occasions in the nineteenth
and the twentieth centuries on which the Mother of Christ made her
presence felt and her voice heard, in order to exhort the People of
God to this form of contemplative prayer. I would mention in
particular, on account of their great influence on the lives of
Christians and the authoritative recognition they have received from
the Church, the apparitions of Lourdes and of Fatima; these shrines
continue to be visited by great numbers of pilgrims seeking comfort
and hope”.
The
second point of coincidence: the Rosary is a simple and profound
prayer.
“Simple yet profound, it still remains, at
the dawn of this third millennium, a prayer of great significance,
destined to bring forth a harvest of holiness… The Rosary is my
favorite prayer. A marvelous prayer! Marvelous in its simplicity and
its depth” (Rosarium Viriginis
Mariae, 1-2).
“Why
is the holy rosary so efficacious? Because it is a simple prayer, a
humble one, and it forms you spiritually in littleness, in meekness,
in simplicity of heart.
Today
Satan is successfully conquering everything with the spirit of pride
and of rebellion against God, and he is terrified by those who follow
your heavenly Mother along the road of littleness and humility. While
this prayer is despised by the great and the proud, it is recited
with so much love and so much joy by my little ones, by the poor, by
children, by the humble, the suffering, by the many, many faithful
souls who have welcomed my invitation
Satan's
pride will again be conquered by the humility of little ones, and the
Red Dragon will find himself decisively humiliated and defeated when
I bind him not by a great chain but by a very frail cord: the holy
Rosary” (October 7, 1983).
The
Rosary is a Christological prayer.
The
Pope says in “Rosarium Viriginis Mariae”, 3:
“To recite the Rosary is nothing other than to
contemplate with Mary the face of
Christ.”
John Paul II, (Angelus, October 27, 2002): “The
Virgin Mary is the unrivalled model of Christian contemplation. From
Jesus' conception until his resurrection and ascension into heaven,
the Mother kept the gaze of her immaculate heart on her divine Son: a
wonderful, penetrating, sorrowful and radiant insight (cf. ibid.). It
is this Marian look full of faith and love, that the individual
Christian and the ecclesial community make their own when they recite
the Rosary”.
“By contemplating its mysteries, you are led
to understand the plan of Jesus, as spelled out in all of his life,
from the Incarnation to the consummation of his glorious Pasch, and
thus you penetrate ever more profoundly into the mystery of the
redemption. And you begin to understand this mystery of love through
your heavenly Mother; moving through the passageway of her Heart, you
gain possession of the immense treasure of the divine and burning
charity of the Heart of Christ”
(October 7, 1983).
Today we celebrate the Feast of the Heart of Jesus. The way to
penetrate deeper into the mystery of Christ is the Immaculate Heart
of Mary. Moving on from there, we come not only to see, but to
possess the treasure of the divine and ardent charity of the Heart of
Jesus.
Dear brothers, this is why Our Lady, the
Woman clothed with the sun, goes in search of those who have had from
the Father the privilege of being small.
The Holy Father says: "I thank Thee, Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hidden these things from the
wise and understanding and revealed them to babes" (Mt 11:25).
Do not be surprised, if there are in the Church many clergymen, many
theologians, many of the faithful who understand nothing of the
Movement. You must not be discouraged. Jesus with the above-mentioned
words praises the Father for his designs. "For
such was thy gracious will”. What was
His gracious will? His gracious will was to open the Kingdom to the
little ones.
Here, with the Marian Movement of Priests Our Lady
forms the army of her little ones and she tests them. She allows
temptations of every kind, misunderstandings on all sides, sometimes
she even permits the most humiliating and painful marginalization.
She permits these, so that you become those little children, so
small, so as to be of infants ... Because with the voice of the
little ones and “infants, thou hast
founded a bulwark because of thy foes, to still the enemy and the
avenger"
(Ps 8:2).
Infants who can only cry, invoking Dad and Mom, infants who can only
repeat the words of the Father and of the Madonna.
This prayer is the Rosary. Done with Her, this
prayer surely becomes the weapon of victory, that will defeat Satan,
and will defeat all the giants in evil. All those who now appear
great in evil, yes, even the powerful
array of Freemasonry, which today has
entered in the interior of the Church, which in
an invisibly way "dominates" and spreading apostasy in her
interior, will be beaten by the voice
of children and of infants, by the prayer done with Mary, it will be
defeated by the holy Rosary. Behold the reason for the Year of the
Rosary.
E
– THE CENACLES OF THE MARIAN MOVEMENT OF PRIESTS.
I want to finish with a message that tells how
with the Rosary we must club Satan.
Here I remember an incident that happened to me in the early years of
the Movement, when I was going in fear along the streets of the
world. I was beginning to enter in the European nations; I had not
yet started going to other continents.
I went to Yugoslavia, when it was all
communist. And there I was once walking
on the road and I see before me the devil in the form of a dog, of a
bear all black and terrible: I was paralyzed with fear, I could not
go on. And so it came to me spontaneously to do this: I had in my
pocket the Rosary, I take the beads and
I began to beat him on the head. Then I
saw a strange thing: these animals, the more you try to hit them, the
more they attack you. Try going against a vicious dog also with the
Rosary! This instead, beating him, he went back. Seeing that he was
going back, I hit him harder. And I saw that in addition to going
back, became smaller. I hit him with more delight and he had become
as small as a ball. I hurt him so badly that he shed tears from his
eyes... And so I gave him a kick and I went forward.
“The chain, with which the great Dragon is
to be bound, is made up of
prayer made with me and by means of me.
This prayer is that of the HOLY ROSARY.
A
chain has in fact the function of first of all limiting action, then
of imprisoning, and finally of making ineffective every activity of
the one who has been bound by it” (October 7, 1992).
If someone goes around stealing and you chain him, he can no longer
go around stealing. If one is chained, he is no longer free in his
movements. He is limited in his movements, it is made impossible for
him to act and then he is put in prison, where he must remain. He can
not escape. because he is chained.
“The chain of the holy rosary has first of
all the function of limiting the
action of my Adversary. Every
rosary which you recite with me has the effect of restricting the
action of the Evil One, of drawing souls away from his pernicious
influence, and of giving greater impetus to the expansion of goodness
in the life of many of my children.
The
chain of the holy rosary has also the effect of imprisoning Satan,
that is, of making his action impotent, and of diminishing and
weakening more and more the force of his diabolical power.
And
so, each rosary which is recited well deals a mighty blow to the
power of evil, and it represents one part of his reign which is
destroyed.
The
chain of the holy rosary brings about, in the end, the result of
making Satan completely harmless.
His
great power is destroyed” (7 October 1992).
What do the legions of giants do?
Inactive giants! Paralyzed giants! Stupid giants! In this way Satan
is rendered totally harmless!
“All
the evil spirits are cast into the pool of fire and sulfur; the door
is shut by me with the key of the power of Christ, and thus they will
no longer be able to go out into the world to do harm to souls.
You
understand now, my beloved children, why, in these last times of the
battle between me, the Woman Clothed with the Sun, and the great
Dragon, I am asking you to multiply everywhere the cenacles of
prayer, with the recitation of the holy rosary, meditation on my
word, and your consecration to my Immaculate Heart” (7 October
1992).
The
heel is us, because we are the little children of Mary, for whom he
sets pitfalls; but precisely with this heel She will crush his head.
“With
these (with these Cenacles), you make it possible for your heavenly
Mother to take action in binding Satan, so that I may thus carry out
my mission of crushing his head, that is to say, of defeating him
once and for all, shutting him up in his abyss of fire and sulfur.
The
humble and fragile cord of the holy rosary forms the strong chain
with which I will take as my prisoner the dark ruler of the world,
the enemy of God and of his faithful servants.
Thus
the pride of Satan will once again be defeated by the power of the
little, the humble and the poor” (7 October 1992).
So I conclude with the last words of the Pope in his homily for the
beatification of the shepherd children at Fatima on May 13, 2000:
“Father, to you I offer praise, for what
you have hidden from the learned and the clever you have revealed to
the merest children. Father, to
you I offer praise for all your children, from the Virgin Mary, your
humble Servant, to the little shepherds, Francisco and Jacinta”
(May 13, 2000).
I thank you, Father, for all of you if, with the help of this week of
the Spiritual Exercises made in the form of Cenacle, you have
succeeded in truly becoming little children of Mary.
And so we can sing, together with the angels and saints in heaven,
along with the brothers and sisters who are purifying themselves in
purgatory, along with the pilgrim Church, suffering and crucified, we
can sing this hymn of our victory:
“By the mouth of babes and infants, thou
hast founded a bulwark because of thy foes, to still the enemy and
