Who Is the Antichrist?

THE ANTICHRIST (the first beast)

On April 21, 2009 I posted an article with this paragraph:

“In the past I indicated to some of my friends that Obama is probably not the antichrist! But when I began to realize that abortion is one of the greatest sins, and that Obama promotes abortion as his highest (sly and hidden, by stealth) priority, I began to reconsider especially after I discovered how many Hebrew scholars indicate how Jesus would have pronounced Luke 10:18 in Aramaic: “And I saw Satan as Baraq U Bam-Maw.” DID JESUS GIVE US AN INDICATION IN THIS VERSE ABOUT THE IDENTITY OF THE ANTICHRIST? As Gloria Polo put it: “Abortion is the worst of all the sins (those provoked, not when it is spontaneous), because to kill the children still in the womb of the mother, to kill a little innocent and defenseless creature, IS TO GIVE POWER TO SATAN.” Did the Council of Foreign Relations member and Trilateralist Henry Kissinger throw out just empty words? “Obama primed to create New World Order”? “Thus you will know them by their fruits” (Mt 7:20). One must discover who Obama is, NOT by the convincing words and shrewd rhetoric enhanced and efficiently and effectively propagated by the highly controlled mass media, BUT BY HIS FRUITS. His fruits indicate that the promotion of the culture of death is more important than even destroying the US economy so as to force the US under the New World Order.”

ONE Antichrist in Particular

It is unfortunate that there are many people and cults today, such as the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormons and Maria Divine Mercy, that MISUSE PROPHECY for their own interests and attention; this misuse of prophecy causes many to reject all prophetical studies while others are led astray in a sly hidden way. There are also those who say there are many antichrists but not one in particular. But this idea is contrary to 1Jn 2:18: "Children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come; therefore we know that it is the last hour." The Catechism of the Catholic Church also indicates that there will be one Antichrist in particular: 675: "Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers (Cf. Lk 18:8; Mt 24:12). The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth (Cf. Lk 21:12; Jn 15:19-20) will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh” (Cf. 2Thess 2:4-12; 1Thess 5:2-3; 2Jn 7; 1Jn 2:18.22).

Most scholars interpret the first beast in Rev 13:1-10 as the Antichrist. This would imply that the second beast in Rev 13:11-18 is also a real particular person who will work “great signs” in order to entice all to “worship the image of the (first) beast”, the Antichrist.

MOST CATHOLIC SCHOLARS believe that the correct method of interpreting the Book of Revelation is a blending of the preterist and futurist methods. The beast is both Rome and the eschatological Antichrist, as well as any demonic power which the Church must face in her entire history.

THE FALSE PROPHET (the second beast)

The Servant of God, Archbishop Fulton Sheen, told us in 1948:

“[Satan] will set up a counter church which will be the ape of the [Catholic] Church … It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and EMPTIED OF ITS DIVINE CONTENT.”

“We are living in the days of the Apocalypse, the last days of our era. The two great forces – the Mystical Body of Christ and the Mystical Body of the anti-Christ – are beginning to draw battle lines for the catastrophic contest.”

“The False prophet will have A RELIGION WITHOUT A CROSS. A RELIGION WITHOUT A WORLD TO COME. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit Church.”

“Christ’s Church the Catholic Church will be one; and the false Prophet will create the other.”

“THE FALSE CHURCH WILL BE WORLDLY, ECUMENICAL, AND GLOBAL. It will be a loose federation of churches and religions, forming some type of global association.”

“A world parliament of Churches. It will be emptied of all Divine content, it will be the mystical body of the anti-christ. The Mystical Body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot, and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from our Bishops.”

“THE ANTICHRIST WILL NOT BE SO CALLED; OTHERWISE HE WOULD HAVE NO FOLLOWERS. He will not wear red tights, nor vomit sulphur, nor carry a trident nor wave an arrowed tail as Mephistopheles in Faust. This masquerade has helped the Devil convince men that he does not exist. When no man recognizes, the more power he exercises. God has defined Himself as “I am Who am,” and the Devil as “I am who am not.”

“Nowhere in Sacred Scripture do we find warrant for the popular myth of the Devil as a buffoon who is dressed like the first “red.” Rather is he described as an angel fallen from heaven, as “the Prince of this world,” whose business it is to tell us that there is no other world. HIS LOGIC IS SIMPLE: if there is no heaven there is no hell; if there is no hell, then there is no sin; if there is no sin, then there is no judge, and if there is no judgment then evil is good and good is evil. But above all these descriptions, OUR LORD TELLS US THAT HE WILL BE SO MUCH LIKE HIMSELF THAT HE WOULD DECEIVE EVEN THE ELECT – and certainly no devil ever seen in picture books could deceive even the elect. How will he come in this new age to win followers to his religion?”

The “Prophecy” of Saint Francis d’Assisi (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2013/11/prophecy-st-francis.html) tells us:

“2. The power of the demons will be greater than usual, the immaculate purity of our religious community and of others, will wither to the point that very few Christians will want to obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with a sincere heart and perfect charity. At the decisive moment of this crisis, a personage not canonically elected, raised to the Pontificate, will endeavor to administer shrewdly to many the mortal poison of his error.

7. Some preachers will keep silent about the truth and, denying the truth, they will trample upon the truth. The sanctity of life will be held in derision by those who only profess it outwardly, and for this reason Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a worthy Pastor, but a destroyer.”

As St. Francis indicated for our times, there is less prayer and more sin than ever before, and thus it is we who have given great power to the “powers of evil”, and thus people believe the well prepared lies on the TV rather than the Truth of the Gospel explained by the Church. This is why we can be so easily manipulated by those who control the mass media. People who do NOT sincerely pray (to live: “THY will be done”, not “MY will be done”), do not believe that eternal heaven and eternal hell exist, and so only this short life is important, and thus people are very afraid to die from the man-made corona virus which is not worse than the normal flu. Where are the voices of the pastors to protect the sheep from this well organized manipulation toward the New World 0rder with the support of a 0ne World Religion slowly emptied of all Divine content in a sly hidden way?

Perhaps after the first beast, the Antichrist, is healed of a mortal wound, Satan will INCARNATE into the body of the human Antichrist, so that the second beast “exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men; and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which was wounded by the sword and yet lived; and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast should even speak, and to cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six” (Revelations ch. 13:12-18).

Satan apes Christ, especially in this period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21) when “even the elect will be deceived if possible” (Mt 24:24). Thus chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation indicates that God will allow Satan to resurrect the human body of the Antichrist, which I believe will be Obama. In this way, Satan apes the Resurrection! And then I believe there might be the real possibility that God will allow Satan to incarnate himself into the body of Obama, while the soul of Obama is already in hell. This is really not too farfetched since one can find in the Sacred Scriptures, as well as in the history of the Church, people who have been possessed by one or more devils. This would also explain why the second beast “exercises all the authority of the first beast IN ITS PRESENCE” because Satan is in the body of Obama.

Satan always has to “disguise himself as an angel of light” (2Cor 11:14), because to see Satan with our mortal eyes would cause us to die immediately of horror. Likewise Satan must present sin as some kind of good, as something that seems pleasing, in order to hide the true reality of sin and the real consequences of sin. Thus, if this satanic incarnation might be the case, it seems to me that the second beast, the false prophet, is, in a certain sense, more important because the first beast will be a political leader (of the New World 0rder), while the second beast will be a religious leader of a 0ne World Religion, a “world parliament of Churches” (as Archbishop Fulton Sheen puts it) at the service of the New World Order, which the second beast will seek to slowly empty of all Divine content in a sly hidden way. At a certain point the first beast receives a “mortal wound” and then Satan uses the body of the human first beast to be adored by men who allow themselves to be seduced by the second beast. The second beast, the false prophet, must seek to “make the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast”, including intellectuals and religious leaders. Thus in this scenario, the first beast only has to blindly obey his Masonic masters until he receives a mortal wound and then Satan will take over his mortal body.

It then seems that there might be a real possibility that in the end Satan, in the body of Obama, will try to ape the ascension of Christ, but at a certain point Jesus tells us "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven” (Lk 10:18) (in Aramaic: “And I saw Satan as Baraq U Bam-Maw.”). That is, while Satan is faking an ascension in the body of Obama, so as to convince the world that he, Satan, is the Messiah, the Christ, God will cast him down “like lightning FROM HEAVEN”! I believe that this casting down by God will be the end of the reign of Satan and the end of the period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21) after which time Satan will be “bound for a thousand years” (Rev 20:2). I have found significant indications that this might occur around the first part of October 2024. Some people might ask why has God allowed Satan to have so much power to seek to seduce men. I believe that the basic answer is that it is we, with our own free wills, have given this power to Satan, since today there is more sin and less prayer than ever before in the history of the world. The “Prophecy” of Saint Francis d’Assisi (above) also indicates this.

I was the confessor for the last four years of a holy religious diocesan sister, SISTER PAOLA MEZZETTI, fourth oldest among six children from a religious family; her father was a fisherman at Lake Trasimeno (near Perugia, Italy). From the beginning of her consecrated life she offered her life for priests and bishops, knowing that there were many bishops in Masonry. She offered catechism classes in many parishes of the diocese of Perugia and cultivated a community (“Queen of Victories and Mother of Renewal”) around her, one of which became a priest. One day before she died a few from this group came to visit her. Sister Paola did not respond being very sick. At a certain point, she opened her eyes and spoke her last words, not with a sickly voice but with her normal clear voice, before she was ill, and said:

“We must pray to God that He gives us the discernment of the Holy Spirit in order to recognize the antichrist, so that none of us might kneel before him, but that all of us might seek the true Christ!”

Let us pray very much and stay close to the Sacraments so as to not be deceived by the greatest deceiver, Satan, the Antichrist! Even now Obama is being promoted by the mainstream media in Europe and the USA.

God has chosen “the HANDMAID of the Lord” (Lk 1:38), Mary, His Immaculate Mother, to crush the PROUD head of the ancient serpent and his followers (Gen 3:15), and to be the General with “twelve stars” in this cosmic battle against the “great red dragon” (Rev 12:1-3)! Our Lady continually tells us to consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and LIVE this consecration of obedience and total trust in our heavenly Mother. “This is the moment for all to take refuge in me, because I am the Ark of the New Covenant. At the time of Noah, immediately before the flood, those whom the Lord had destined to survive his terrible chastisement entered into the ark. In this period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21), “the Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection” (CCC 675-677). But “IN THE END MY IMMACULATE HEART WILL TRIUMPH!” - Our Lady of Fatima, Portugal, 1917. There will be fulfilled the Protoevangelium (Gen 3:15) – Saint Louis de Montfort!
