Who Is a Man, Who Is a Woman, According To God?
MAN IS MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD (Gen 1:26-27). Spiritually speaking, human beings are at the level of the angels (Mt 22:30; Heb 2:6-8). Thus the responsibility of men and women is very great. This is because the consequences of every human action has eternal consequences, positive or negative. This is why if we saw for one instant heaven here on earth we would die instantly of joy; if we saw for one instant hell here on earth we would die instantly of terror. St. Thomas Aquinas, the greatest doctor of the Catholic Church, wrote that if you put all the pain and suffering in the whole world together, this would not equal the least pain in purgatory! Satan wants to lead men and women to lower themselves down to below the level of the animals as are the fallen angels in hell!
THE DEVILS HATE GOD, but cannot hurt God directly, so they seek to deprive God of our company for eternity. Those who do the will of God and end up in heaven will take the places in heaven left vacant by the third of the angels who rebelled against God (Rev 12:4), before the creation of the visible universe. For this reason the devils hate human beings even more!
SATAN HAS SUCCEEDED TODAY IN DISRUPTING THE FAMILY TO THE POINT OF ABSURDITY, convincing many that “love” means accepting homosexual relations as “matrimony”, transgender in total rebellion and contradiction to the loving plan and design of God for human beings made in the image of God!!!
After Pope John Paul II directed Cardinal Carlo Caffarra of Bologna to plan and establish the Pontifical Institute for the Studies on Marriage and the Family, Sister Lucia dos Santos, of Fatima, wrote a long letter to Cardinal Caffarra explaining that “THE FINAL BATTLE BETWEEN THE LORD AND THE REIGN OF SATAN WILL BE ABOUT MARRIAGE AND THE FAMILY”.

Up until about 1960 people generally knew and accepted the concept of the family and marriage according to God between a man and a woman. TODAY SATAN, WITH THE HELP OF A GREAT NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS AND COLLABORATORS, HAS SUCCEEDED IN CONFOUNDING GOD’S PLAN FOR MARRIAGE AND THE FAMILY AS THE MOST FUNDAMENTAL CELL OF SOCIETY. I remember growing up in the 1960s, seeing these changes, asking myself what is the proper role of the husband and father of the family, and of the wife and mother of the family. I was even more interested in this question in my college years when I was hoping to find a possible wife that we could together build a family according to God so as to arrive at true happiness together which can only come from God. I understood in the 1960s and 1970s that in years past the roles of husband and wife were much more clearly understood and accepted from the Christian tradition. Thus I asked myself if these roles could be changed according to social customs without damage to the family as God intended the family, or if these radical changes of these roles of husband and wife would be detrimental to the family.
Thus I would like to briefly offer in this article what God has ordained in this matter which we can find in Divine Revelation explained by the perennial teachings of the Catholic Church, which today are rarely taught to the people.
I will be relying heavily on talks on YouTube by a well known Catholic exorcist, Fr. Chad Ripperger, who has remained faithful to the perennial teachings of the Church as well as having much personal experience as an exorcist to illustrate well these precious teachings of the Catholic Church.
As we know THE BASIS OF ALL SIN IS PRIDE, since Satan and all his devils in hell are pure pride. Thus in this period of the great apostasy before the revelation of the Antichrist (2Thess 2:3), pride is promoted everywhere, in particular in the Catholic Church. Secular feminism, based on pride, is destroying a great number of women and wives along with their families, the fundamental cell of society.

The exorcist, Fr. Chad Ripperger, referring to the fourth commandment, tells us that BY A DIVINE POSITIVE LAW, WOMEN ARE TO BE SUBJECT TO THEIR HUSBANDS. He tells us that this is a commandment from God, it’s not a request, it’s not based on the merit of one’s husband, even though the wife, pushed by the mainstream media and secular feminism, might very often believe that he is not as smart or holy or virtuous as the wife. This is not the issue. It’s a matter of authority. The husband gravely sins when he gives in to wife to things that do not lead to heaven, taking the easy way as well as to not lose pleasure with his wife, which is called irresponsibility and effeminacy on the part of the husband. For this same reason, a great number of priests are in hell because they said to the souls entrusted to them what they wanted to hear instead of what they needed to hear to help them get to heaven! Fr. Ripperger says that if the husband is sacrificial for his wife, she will more willingly submit. The wife sins gravely by not submitting to her husband and respecting his authority from God. Fr. Ripperger continues: The perfection of the woman in the married state is going to be achieved when she actually has piety for the office of her husband as head of the household, reverence for his authority, not because of him, but because the authority of her husband comes from God which we clearly see in the Old Testament in the New Testament
Pope Leo XIII was the last pope to reiterate this concept: all authority comes from God. Even Christ explained to Pontius Pilate that his authority comes from God, and then Christ allowed Pilate to condemn Jesus to death (Jn 19:11).
Did God give us the Ten Commandments and His divine positive law FOR OUR GOOD OR FOR OUR HARM?!? Do we trust God or do we TRUST ourselves or the world?!? Does the Truth come from the Creator or from the creatures? Do we think we are more intelligent than God? Where do we want to pass all of ETERNITY, with a malevolent dictator, Satan, or with God, our benevolent Creator?!? It is not possible to live ALL Ten Commandments, that is to love God and neighbor, without accepting the cross of Christ with much prayer. If we chose to avoid all suffering in this short life, we will suffer for all eternity separated from God in hell. The choice is ours! In heaven there is room for only ONE God; in hell everyone has made themselves a god by believing they are the source of all truth!!!
A great number of husbands end up committing a grave sin by being irresponsible and capitulating their authority. When Eve handed the fruit to Adam she was taking headship which is the sin of usurpation. When a woman rebels against the authority of her husband or takes authority in a particular situation, this is usurpation, it is a specific sin against justice.
But when Eve handed the apple to Adam, what did he do? HE CAPITULATED HIS AUTHORITY. Today there is the problem of the husband just giving his wife what she wants so she'll be quiet and he doesn’t have to listen to her or he just lets her deal with a problem so he doesn’t have to deal with it. This is capitulating his authority, it is irresponsibility. Adam committed two essentially sins, but in reality there are at least eight sins in the fall. One of these two essential sins was his irresponsibility, capitulating his authority. Adam should have admonished Eve for eating the apple. The other essential sin of Adam was effeminacy.
EFFEMINACY is defined as an unwillingness to put aside our pleasure in order to pursue what is arduous. This means that a man becomes so focused on his pleasure and what he wants in the relationship that he's unwilling to do things that are hard and difficult. It is hard and difficult to maintain headship in a family and it's not pleasant. The fathers of the Church actually say that Adam did not want to be separated from the pleasures of his wife. And thus from that point on, men have a problem with irresponsibility and effeminacy. Then as a result of that they capitulate their authority, in the context they find themselves, or they misuse their authority to their own ends. Authority according to the entire tradition of the Church is never given to anyone for the sake of the one who receives it. It is given for those who are under the authority. The husband's authority is not for his benefit; it is for the benefit of his children and of his wife. The Church's authority, even the authority of the Holy Father, or of the Bishops or of the priests, it's for the benefit of those under them. It's not for them. Fr. Ripperger says that this area is one of the principal areas that he consistently see failures in marriage, consistently among Catholics.
Father Fulton Sheen one time, when he was first ordained, was put under this one Pastor who was a bit old and grumpy. And the pastor was preaching on Ephesians 5 which is the one about women be subject to your husbands. And at a certain point he said if there's any man that's the head of his household in this congregation let him stand up. Well nobody stood up for a little while. Finally some guy all the way in the back, hat in hand, stands up. And so the pastor leans over and says oh so you're the head of your household huh? He said: no my wife told me to stand up.

How many priests "love" according to their subjectivism and relativism today. This is why Don Dolindo Ruotolo wrote:
"Dear brothers (priests), think about it now while you still have time; Saint John Chrysostom says that 'the priests who are saved are very few,' and this word should truly make us tremble!"
Speaking of the great responsibility of priests and bishops:
Saints John Chrysostom, John Eudes, and Athanasius said that the road (or floor of hell) to hell is made with the bones of priests and religious, and the skulls of bishops are the lamps to light the way!
Saint John Mary Vianney (1786-1859), known as the Curé of Ars, said that a priest goes to heaven or hell together with 1,000 souls!!!
Fr. Ripperger tells married men, especially when they're about to get married: YOU NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR WIFE WHAT SHE WANTS. Ever! You give her what's going to make her truly happy. Now if she's virtuous those are one and the same. But if there's any area of her life that isn't virtuous and you give into it, you are going to make her miserable and in the end she's not going to be happy with you, or respect you.
The next area in relationship to married couples is FAILURE TO RENDER THE MARITAL DEBT. This basically means that if there's a reasonable request for the conjugal act on the side of one of the parties as long as it's not unreasonable, the other person has to render it. When you enter into marriage you're entering into a contract. The Church calls it a the Covenant. If you actually look up the traditional definition of Covenant, it says “solemn contract”. It is a matter of justice, because when you enter into marriage, you're giving rights over your body to your spouse. This is why St Paul says that it is no longer his body but hers and it's no longer her body but his. Those rights mean that if you don't render the marital debt when there's a reasonable request, it's mortally sinful. This is what the Church has always taught. Today people say well it's not romantic. That's not good enough. I got a headache. That's not good enough either.
On the other hand, continues Fr. Ripperger, speaking to men, more than others, if she's not feeling well don't be an idiot. So even though the husband could make the request, he should be charitable and be concerned about her.
This brings us up the other point, that the HUSBANDS HAVE TO LOVE THEIR WIVES. Why do they have to love their wives? Because if you love your wife then you're willing to sacrifice for her and this is built into feminine psychology. If her husband is sacrificial in relationship to her, he never considers himself in the equation but only is looking after what is best for her. By doing so she will be naturally inclined to want to submit. But if you are an egotist and a pig, because most guys are pigs, in particular when you are dealing with the pleasures of sex, what's going to happen is, she's going to find it very difficult. It's normal human psychology. She's going to find it very difficult to submit and it's the husband’s fault. Read about the intentions of Tobit and how he treated his wife Sarah in chapter 8 in the book of Tobit! “O Lord, I am not taking this sister of mine because of lust, but with sincerity. .(…)” (Tobit 8:7). Before Tobit, Sarah had been given to seven husbands and that each died in the bridal chamber (Tob 6:13-14; 7:11).
BY NATURE, GOD HAS GIVEN TO MEN THE VOCATION TO PROTECT THE WIFE, FAMILY AND SOCIETY, while the woman looks at the details of the persons and the family. In God’s plan, the woman inspires her husband and the husband inspires the children and thus the society. Studies show that the children follow much more the example of the father than the mother. In God’s design, the husband is the head of the family and the wife is the heart of the family! Satan seeks to confuse this perfect plan of God so as to destroy the family, the fundamental cell of society. Secular feminism promotes power seeking, envy, jealousy, division and upheaval, instead of understanding, appreciating and living the different vocations as different ways of serving others so as to procure true unity and peace. Generally speaking, the sins of the woman are more hidden than those of men, but not less grave. In God’s infinitely wise designs, the man tends to reason with his head while the woman tends to reason with her heart. Man should listen to the heart but make the final decisions with his head. God created man and woman complimentary, equal in dignity with different roles of mutual service and love, not power and strife as Satan wants and promotes. Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen said: “We live in a sensate age. We are no longer governed by faith, we are no longer governed by reason. We are governed by feelings”.
In times past it might have been easier to understand and see the importance of the man’s protection at the material and physical level. BUT MAN’S ROLE AND GOD-GIVEN CAPACITY AS THE ETHICAL AND MORAL PROTECTOR of his family and society is even more important even though this aspect is very little appreciated and promoted today (and even strongly discouraged and ridiculed in a sly and powerful way, with very developed technique) by the mainstream media which is leading us to the worst dictatorship in the history of the world!
It is interesting how the Sacred Scriptures, in very few words, reassume the fundamental cause of the great flood: “the sons of God” took to wife “the daughters of men” (Gen 6:2). ABOUT 100 YEARS AGO, MAS0NRY, with their right arm, Communism, smuggled into Europe and into the United States a great amount of pornography so that “the sons of God” took to wife “the daughters of men”, that is, the women who seduce and manipulate instead of inspiring men toward the true virtues and toward God! WOMEN HAVE A RATHER GREAT POWER TO SEDUCE OR TO INSPIRE MEN. Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen wrote: “To a great extent the level of any civilization is the level of its womanhood. When a man loves a woman, he has to become worthy of her. The higher her virtue, the more her character, the more she is devoted to truth, justice and goodness, the more a man has to aspire to be worthy of her. The history of civilization could actually be written in terms of the level of its women.”
Our Lady revealed to Jacinta of Fatima between December 1919 and February 1920 when she died: "More souls go to hell because of sins of the flesh than for any other reason. Certain fashions will be introduced which will offend Our Lord very much. WOE TO WOMEN WANTING IN MODESTY"! It is interesting that regarding sins of the flesh, Our Lady did not say “Woe to men …”, but “Woe to women wanting in modesty”!
I know many wives who do things in the parish and participate in manifestations but do not love their husbands, or live the Word of God, and begin idolizing other men, which soap operas promote very strongly in a hidden way. Exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger explains clearly that when wives do not submit to their husbands (1Pet 3:1-7; Eph 5:21-33; 1Cor 7:1-10; Prov 31:10-31; Sir 26:1-4, 13-16), who have been given authority from God over the wife and family, the wife NO LONGER HAS THE PROTECTION OF GOD and then is very easily manipulated by the devil to concentrate on the defects of her husband (as secular feminism promotes strongly in all the mainstream media today) even while she is manipulated by the devil to believe she is right and more holy than her husband. This highly developed technique of brainwashing with the mainstream media is more effective with women than with men since women, by nature, tend to reason with the heart. Men are especially attacked and seduced with pornography and encouragement in all ways to have extramarital sex. The devil leads women to idolize other men who help to satisfy their self-righteousness and to feel important with a charismatic leader, as many Germans did idolizing Hitler in WWII.
In similar ways many people do some good works to satisfy themselves and to convince themselves and others that they are holy and saved but do not do the principle will of God in their lives according to their God-given vocation. God revealed to many saints that this behavior will almost always lead to mortal sin and hell if not repented of.
Pride is always accompanied with spiritual blindness. Such people are not willing to listen to any advice that is not in according to their own personal convictions. Thus words do not help and they can only be helped through prayer and sacrifice (such as fasting) offered for them, since they listen to no one not in agreement with themselves.

St. Philip Neri wept before a proud man who was convinced he was saved because he knew that the disease of spiritual pride is almost entirely incurable.

It is so easy to get all wrapped up in the things of this world so that we easily forget that the only thing that matters is eternity!!! When we forget our purpose in life, true Christian virtue begins to seem totally outdated with modern times which has put aside God as a useless being. GOD AND TRUE VIRTUE DO NOT CHANGE. The world changes according to the whims and arrogance of men and women.
Women who have been contaminated and have willingly embraced the blind arrogance of secular feminism would find it absurd and have a very difficult time realizing, understanding and appreciating the great beauty and value of the love of a true Christian saintly wife. Certainly we could learn much from women married saints such as Saint Monica, Saint Rita of Cascia, Saint Francesca of Rome, St. Gianna Beretta Molla or Saint Maria Anne Taighi. SERVANT OF GOD: ELIZABETH ARRIGHI LESEUR
ELIZABETH ARRIGHI LESEUR WAS BORN into a wealthy and sophisticated family in Paris, France. She and her siblings were brought up and educated like any other Catholic family of that time and from her childhood Elizabeth stood out for her devout way of life. In 1889 Elizabeth met Felix Leseur. They fell deeply in love and seemed to be the perfect match for each other. However before their wedding Felix confessed to his beloved that he had lost his faith during his medical studies.
ALTHOUGH THIS SADDEN Elizabeth she did not give much thought to a possible conflict between her religious practices and his skepticism. They were engaged on May the 23rd 1889 with the condition that Felix would respect her Catholic faith and a few months later they were married. From the start everything seemed well, but Elizabeth later became ill and had to recover for several months. This was just the beginning of her health issues that she would have to suffer for the rest of her life.
DESPITE THEIR RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES, Elizabeth and Felix loved each other very much. However as time passed Felix, influenced by his atheist environment and the secular newspapers, he read grew more and more intolerant towards his wife's faith and he began to increase his criticisms of the Church and soon openly ridiculed his wife's beliefs filling the library with collections of books justifying atheism. After 7 years, in 1897, the criticisms of her husband began to get to her and so Elizabeth abandoned her relationship with God. To ensure that his wife would renounce the faith once and for all Felix gave her a book entitled "The History of the Origins of Christianity" written by an author renowned for his hatred towards Catholicism. However Elizabeth was a lot smarter than that.
ONCE MORE SHE TURNED TO THE GOSPEL READING. Reflecting upon the word of God inspired in her a desire to learn more about her faith and thus the rebuilding of her spiritual life. She began to read about the church fathers, mystic authors and above all Sacred Scripture. In 1899 Elizabeth began a diary when she was 33. She wrote: "By the serenity that I mean to acquire I will prove that the Christian life is great and beautiful and full of joy."
From then on THE STRENGTH OF HER LOVE FOR GOD AND THE TRUST IN HIM, were her greatest motivation. She soon became conscious of her husband's need for conversion. But any effort made only caused greater conflict between the two. Her weapons now became prayer and sacrifice. She made the heroic decision to endure the attacks against her beliefs patiently, to pray for Felix's conversion and to hide her sufferings from others.
SHE WROTE IN HER DIARY: "My God one day soon you will give me the immense joy of a full spiritual communion with my beloved husband, the same faith, and a life for both him and me that may be directed towards you." . From then on praying for her husband's conversion became the focus of her entire life. Every time Elizabeth received the body of Christ she experienced this mystical union with the Lord. However on many occasions she was unable to receive the Eucharist because of her husband's objections. Elizabeth 's mental and spiritual sufferings were extremely intense. The suffering only increased as Elizabeth fell ill with breast cancer. By 1907 her health had deteriorated to the point where she was forced to become almost immobile. In 1911 she underwent surgery and radiotherapy and when sufficiently recovered she went accompanied by her husband on her last pilgrimage to Lourdes. However her cancer continued to spread.
In July of 1913 she was obliged to remain bedridden. SHE HAD PREDICTED HER HUSBAND'S CONVERSION IN THE JOURNAL SHE WROTE IN 1905. Felix himself would later write referring to this period, he wrote: "I was impressed at the strength with which she was able to dominate both her body and her soul. She endured her illness with serenity." Elizabeth passed away on May the 3rd 1914. She was only 48 years old.
After his wife's death Felix decided to write a book against the Miracles of Lourdes. But he never finished the project because on a visit to Lourdes he was to have the first experience that caused him to seriously reconsider his position as an atheist. In a note that Elizabeth had written him in 1914, the year of her death, FELIX READ THE FOLLOWING WORDS: "In 1905 I begged almighty God to send me sufferings with which to pay the price of your soul. The day I die that price will be paid. There is no greater love to be found in a woman than when she gives her life for her husband."
While on journey in Lourdes FELIX HAD AN INTENSE EXPERIENCE of both his wife's presence and God’s. It was this incident that sparked his slow return to Catholicism. In one of her letters to Felix, Elizabeth predicted something shocking, she wrote: "I will die first and when I die you will be converted and when you are converted you will become a religious."
AND SO HER PROPHECY WAS FULFILLED. Felix turned back towards the God who so patiently waited for his conversion. He confessed his sins to a priest and he was reconciled with the Church. Three years after Elizabeth 's death Felix returned to the bosom of the Church in which he had been baptized. In 1919 he became a Dominican Friar and in 1923 he was ordained a priest.
Now you may have a loved one who doesn't believe in God or may have fallen away from the Catholic faith. This can be soul crushing but never forget the words spoken in Matthew 19:26. Take heart and never give up praying for your loved one because “for God all things are possible” (Mt 19:26)! THE INCREDIBLE STORY OF FELIX AND ELIZABETH LESEUR IS A GREAT TESTIMONY TO THE POWER OF SACRIFICIAL LOVE AND DIVINE PROVIDENCE.

“The Secret Diary of Elizabeth Leseur” contains the spiritual writings of Elizabeth as SHE NAVIGATED THE DIFFICULT WATERS OF ADHERING TO GOD WHILE MAINTAINING A HARMONIOUS MARRIAGE.
A cause for Leseur’s beatification was formally opened on 2 July 1951, granting her the title of Servant of God.

We must never lose hope! We know who wins in the end! In this period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21), “the Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection” (CCC 677). But “IN THE END MY IMMACULATE HEART WILL TRIUMPH!” - Our Lady of Fatima, Portugal, 1917. There will be fulfilled the Protoevangelium (Gen 3:15) – Saint Louis de Montfort!

After Pope John Paul II directed Cardinal Carlo Caffarra of Bologna to plan and establish the Pontifical Institute for the Studies on Marriage and the Family, Sister Lucia dos Santos, of Fatima, wrote a long letter to Cardinal Caffarra explaining that “THE FINAL BATTLE BETWEEN THE LORD AND THE REIGN OF SATAN WILL BE ABOUT MARRIAGE AND THE FAMILY”.

“Rorate Caeli has published a translation of a remarkable interview, originally published in 2008, with Cardinal Carlo Caffarra of Bologna. In it, he references correspondence he had with Sister Lucia, the principle visionary of Our Lady at Fatima:
Q. There is a prophecy by Sister Lucia dos Santos, of Fatima, which concerns “the final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan”. The battlefield is the family. Life and the family. We know that you were given charge by John Paul II to plan and establish the Pontifical Institute for the Studies on Marriage and the Family.
Yes, I was. At the start of this work entrusted to me by the Servant of God John Paul II, I wrote to Sister Lucia of Fatima through her Bishop as I couldn’t do so directly. Unexplainably however, since I didn’t expect an answer, seeing that I had only asked for prayers, I received a very long letter with her signature – now in the Institute’s archives. In it we find written: the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family. Don’t be afraid, she added, because anyone who operates for the sanctity of marriage and the family will always be contended and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue. And then she concluded: however, Our Lady has already crushed its head.
Talking also to John Paul II, you felt too that this was the crux, as it touches the very pillar of creation, the truth of the relationship between man and woman among the generations. If the founding pillar is touched the entire building collapses and we see this now, because we are at this point and we know it. And I’m moved when I read the best biographies of Padre Pio, on how this man was so attentive to the sanctity of marriage and the sanctity of the spouses, even with justifiable rigor on occasion.
Does this come as any surprise to those watching the events currently unfolding in the Church? We have referenced various apparitions in the past that are related to this, beginning with
OUR LADY OF GOOD SUCCESS, IN THE 17TH CENTURY:
“Thus I make it known to you that from the end of the 19th century and shortly after the middle of the 20th century…the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of morals… As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned. FREEMAS0NRY, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church… IN THIS SUPREME MOMENT OF NEED FOR THE CHURCH, THE ONE WHO SHOULD SPEAK WILL FALL SILENT.”
When we reflect on the division among prelates at the Synod, Our Lady of Akita comes to mind:
“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres…churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.”
Catholics are not required to believe in even the most approved and venerated private revelations, but many of us choose to do so. Does this battle relate to the famous discourse Pope Leo XIII was alleged to have heard in a vision between Christ and Satan, which led him to compose the prayer to St. Michael? How long the final battle will last, and what will come after?
It is impossible to know. But the notion that there is at this very moment a battle taking place for the heart of the Church and the souls of the faithful is no longer in dispute.

It is very interesting that Our Lady of Good Success said “the ONE who should speak”; she did not say, “the ONES who should speak”, or “those who should speak”, that is, not a group of bishops, but ONE PERSON. Today people are well prepared for this underhanded and very devastating deception of silence after many years of silence about sin and about the consequences of sin on the part of almost all the fathers of the families, of the priests and of the bishops.

When Pope Paul VI issued his prophetic encyclical, “HUMANAE VITAE” (1968), there was an incredible negative reaction not only on the part of the laity who wanted to enjoy the pleasures of sexual relationships without any responsibility or openness to life by using artificial birth control, but even on the part of a great number of priests and bishops, even entire Episcopal conferences (e.g., the ‘Winnipeg Statement’ of the Canadian Bishops)! BEFORE 1930 ALL MAINLINE PROTESTANT DENOMINATIONS WERE IN ACCORD WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH that the use of artificial birth control was a grave evil and a serious sin. Before 1930 most Christian men realized that using artificial birth control was like using ones wife as a prostitute! When the Anglican Church changed its stance in 1930 (Lambeth Conference) the other protestants churches quickly followed suit while Pope Pius XI reaffirmed the Church’s constant teaching on this grave evil in his encyclical Casti Cannubii (1930). Do we believe that we can make it to heaven without imitating Christ crucified to overcome our egoism and to learn to truly love, without being generous to life (“be fruitful and multiply”; Gen 1:28; 9:1,7; 26:24; 38:8-10; Ps 8:6-9; 127:3-5; Sir 17:2-4; Ex 1:7; Wis 9:2; 10:2; etc.)? Three years before the publication of Humanae Vitae, Saint Michael the Archangel at Garabandal, sent by Our Lady, (Spain, 1965) said: “Many Cardinals, many Bishops and many Priests are on the road to perdition and with them they are bringing many souls”! WE ARE NOW UNDERGOING THE CHASTISEMENT (Mt 24) of Divine Mercy, as the last chance of conversion (Diary of Saint Faustina, no. 1588), for our rejection and great rebellion against God’s holy and saving laws.

At the time of Noah, immediately before the flood, those whom the Lord had destined to survive his terrible chastisement entered into the ark. In these your times, I am inviting all my beloved children to enter into the Ark of the New Covenant which I have built in MY IMMACULATE HEART for you, that they may be assisted by me to carry the bloody burden of the great trial, which precedes the coming of the day of the Lord.” (“To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons”; July 30, 1986; March 15, 1993).

In the final message of the Blessed Virgin, October 13, 1973, on the anniversary of the last apparition and of the miracle of Fatima, at Akita, Japan, she said to Sister Agnes Sasagawa: “As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms that will remain for you will be the Rosary and Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. WITH THE ROSARY, PRAY FOR THE POPE, THE BISHOPS, AND THE PRIESTS. The work of the devil will infiltrate even the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against other bishops. The priests who venerate Me will be scorned and opposed by their conferees, churches and altars sacked, the Church will be full of those who accept compromise and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of My sadness. HOW MANY PRIESTS AND BISHOPS TODAY, for the true good of their flock, have the courage to imitate the saints and the prophets and say as Saint John the Baptist, the “greatest born of women” (Mt 11:11), who said to king Herod: “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife” (Mk 6:18)? John the Baptist said that Jesus “must increase, but I must decrease” (Jn 3:30). A great number of priests today want to increase before people and thus are not transparent so as to lead people to Christ, the Truth (Jn 14:6), but rather to themselves! They seek followers for themselves instead of following Jesus to Calvary! So many religious leaders and parents seek to please the people without distinguishing and determining if it is a sin or not, if it truly does good to the person or not, today and tomorrow and for eternity! This is false and destructive love; this is misguided compassion! Few religious leaders today have the courage of the first Pope, Peter, the day of the birth of the Church, Pentecost, to say: “You have crucified Jesus” (Acts 4:10), “the author of life” (Acts 3:15), with your grave, mortal sins!

What happens to the few priests and bishops today who do their fundamental work, to identify and cure, as spiritual doctors, the gravest sicknesses of the souls, mortal sins? THE PRIESTS TODAY WHO PREACH THE WHOLE GOSPEL and all of the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church are labeled ridged and old-fashioned, insensitive, lacking in compassion, divisive, judgmental, moralists. WHILE AT THE SAME TIME THE ONES WHO MAINTAIN A CULPABLE SILENCE, the ones who tell their people what they think they want to hear are seen as understanding, sympathetic, pastorally sensitive and merciful. “Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets” (Lk 6:26). “For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God” (Jn 12:43). “How can you believe, who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” (Jn 5:44; Gal 1:10). But this way of doing is not true mercy! THIS IS FALSE LOVE, MISGUIDED COMPASSION, false mercy, false ecumenism, that does not lead to paradise for all eternity!?!

Pope Francis removed (November 11, 2023) Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, who has always remained faithful to the Deposit of Faith, which does not change with the world, because it is the Truth of God.
Bishop Joseph Strickland strongly rebuked the "silent" bishops of the United States in a powerful letter outside the meeting of US bishops in Baltimore, warning that God will punish those who do not speak out publicly against "the false messages constantly coming from the Vatican" under Pope Francis.

Cardinal Pell called the Synod of Bishops initiated by Francis to explore the theme of "synodality" and what the Church of the future must be a "TOXIC NIGHTMARE." In the "secret" Vatican memo, Cardinal Pell wrote: "Commentators of all schools, if not for various reasons... agree that this papacy is a disaster in many or many respects; a catastrophe." Cardinal Pell, who had been in good health, died suddenly on January 10, 2023.

During the two Synods on the Family (2014 and 2015) prior to the publication of Amoris Laetitia (2016), Cardinal Carlo Caffarra, Archbishop of Bologna, spoke out forcefully against Cardinal Kasper's heretical proposals to allow Holy Communion to remarried divorced couples. Cardinal Caffarra died suddenly on September 6, 2017.
Cardinal Kaspar, strongly supported by Pope Francis, refuses to answer a simple question that Cardinal Caffarra has repeated many times: What happens to a first valid and consummated marriage?

The distinguished Austrian Catholic philosopher, Professor JOSEF SEIFERT, 72, from the Spanish branch of the International Academy of Philosophy, founded by Seifert himself and headquartered in the Principality of Liechtenstein, is perhaps the most dramatic legacy of "Amoris Laetitia." Bishop Dominique Marie Jean Rey (born September 21, 1952) is a prelate of the Catholic Church who was the Bishop of Fréjus-Toulon from 2000 to 2025. He is a member of the Emmanuel Community and is considered one of the most conservative French bishops. He also frequently celebrates the Tridentine Mass. Bishop Dominique Rey of Fréjus-Toulon resigned (January 2025) after Pope Francis asked him to resign, ending a controversial chapter in the history of the French diocese.
